World Wide Ministries

“Missions” is activity carried out by the Church to fulfill Christ’s commission to: “… go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)  

Through our support of individuals and agencies, Steele Heights Baptist Church has the privilege of touching lives around the world, including the Asia-Pacific region, Cameroon and Nigeria, South and Central America, and the greater Edmonton area.

Short Term Missions are also an integral part of World Wide Ministries.  Every year there is an opportunity to serve on one of our Project Teams:  Youth Team 2010, Brazil 2011 and Nicaragua 2012. Perhaps God has been calling you into the area of global outreach. Prayerfully consider YOUR involvement.
