It is the vision of SHBC Children's Ministries to move children to extraordinary life in Christ.

At Steele Heights Baptist Church, each child will have the opportunity to know more about God and belong to a small group where they can learn how to live their life to honor God and share God's truth with others. Leaders will partner with parents to help them raise children to be spiritual champions.

Sunday Mornings

We offer nursery care and Children's Program on Sunday mornings for ages 3 through Grade 6. Using stories, drama, crafts, games, songs, and snacks, children learn what can be found in God's Word, the Bible. Each child will be part of a small group. Registration forms are required for participation in this program.

MOM's TIME OUT - Wednesdays 10:00 am

Are you looking for a place to meet other moms while your children have a fun play time together? Each Wednesday you are welcome to come to Moms Time Out.  For more information, call Kim at 780-435-9166.

FAITH JOURNEY EVENTS

Parenting can be challenging and so, we offer events to support the family for children and their parents called "Faith Journey Events." On specified Sunday mornings, parents and children of specific ages come together and learn a new faith skill that they can continue developing in the home. Some topics include: ‘Music, Media, and Me','Prayer', ‘Baptism & Communion', and ‘Parents, Kids, & Money'.

More opportunities to have fun within our community occur during Family Events - SUMMER FESTIVAL and FAMILY DAY.

OUT OF SCHOOL CARE

McLeod Community Out of School Care is offered each day for families who have children attending McLeod School. It is staffed with caring professionals who create a fun, safe, and enriching environment for your child. It is licensed by the Province of Alberta. There are only a few spaces available at this time. Register by calling Chantelle at 780- 473-KIDS (5437)

A-TEAM - ADVENTURE TEAM Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm

A group just for boys grades 3-6 to learn skills and have fun. Out door skills, tools, sports, and exciting field trips all make it an awesome place to be. Registration night September 7th.
